Eligibility Criteria


All Admissions are provisional and subject to rules and regulations prescribed by the Government of Andhra Pradesh from time to time. The admission of any candidate even if made, will be cancelled if such admission is found to be made contrary to the above referred rules and regulations at any time. In such cases, the candidate shall not have any claim whatsoever in any manner.

 

The students are admitted into the four-year undergraduate programs in two categories. The first category, Category-A seats constitute 70% of the total seats in the college. The Category-A seats are filled through Convener, EAMCET, Andhra Pradesh. The second category, Category-B seats constitute 30% of the total available seats. The Category-B seats are filled by the management through the newspaper advertisement.

Eligibility Criteria - B.Tech


Admissions under A-Category / Convenor's Quota (70% of intake in each branch):

1. Completion of IPE
A Candidate for admission to the four-year degree course in Engineering must have passed the Intermediate examination of the Board of Intermediate Education, Government of Andhra Pradesh with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as Major subjects, or any other examination recognized by the University as equivalent thereto.

2. Qualifing the EAMCET
All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to qualify in the EAMCET Examination conducted by the Govt. of AP.

3. Seat Allotment
The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.

4. Admissions under Management Quota
B-Category
(30% of intake in each branch)

The seats shall be filled either on the basis of rank obtained in EAMCET or of securing not less than 50% in aggregate or in group subjects (Maths, Physics and Chemistry) in the 10+2 qualifying examination.

5. Interviewing Process
Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the prescribed group subjects taken together/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

6. Last Decision
All affiliated colleges are governed by the admission procedures and guidelines prescribed by the APSCHE (Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education), Government of Andhra Pradesh and JNTUK

Eligibility Criteria - M.Tech
Admissions under A-Category / Convenor's Quota (70% of intake in each branch):

1. Completion of Degree
A Candidate for admission to the Two-year Master degree course in Engineering must have passed the A bachelor's degree in Engg/Technology of any recognized university in the concerned discipline. AMIE/AMIETE or similar qualifications recognized by UPSC as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech.

2. Qualifing the CET

All the eligible applicants for admission into First Year shall have to secure the Valid GATE Score obtained in the GATE Examination or Valid PGECET Rank obtained in the Entrance Examination.

3. Seat Allotment

The candidates will be admitted strictly in accordance with the merit secured at the Entrance Examination keeping in view the rules in force regarding the reservations of seats of various categories of candidates.The candidates should satisfy local/non-local status requirement as laid down in the AP Educational institutions (Regulation of Admissions) Order 1974 as amended from time to time.

4. Admissions under Management Quota B-Category(30% of intake in each branch)

Every year an advertisement is published in the leading newspaper regarding the issue of applications for admission to M.Tech.

5. Interviewing Process

Thereafter, if any seats still remain unfilled such seats may be filled on merit basis with candidates securing not less than 45% (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved categories) in the prescribed group subjects taken together/aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

6. Last Decision
